Preview terms of use

These terms cover the MUENY public preview and this website. They are written in plain language and will be replaced by full terms before general availability.

What the preview is

MUENY is a development preview of a Local Civic Intelligence platform. It exists so people can explore connected local information and tell us where it is wrong or unhelpful.

What it is not

No layer, number, or output in the preview is cleared for operational, policy, legal, engineering, investment, or other decisions. Values may be observed, modeled, estimated, or projected, and each is labeled as such. Verify anything that matters with the original authority.

Data

The preview shows public-record information about places. It does not publish owner names or mailing addresses. Restricted, sensitive, or preliminary information is kept out of the public preview.

Acceptable use

Use the preview to understand and question your community. Do not scrape it, attempt to re-identify people from it, or present its outputs as MUENY’s recommendations.

No warranty

The preview is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or availability. It may change or pause at any time while validation work continues.
